Join us for an in-person Preview Day to learn more about the two rural programs offered at UAB Heersink School of Medicine! This session will include a student panel and a tour.
UAB Heersink offers two five-year programs in partnership with The University of Alabama and Auburn University for students dedicated to pursuing careers in rural primary care medicine. In each program, students start with a pre-matriculation year at one of our partner schools followed by four years of medical school.
Applications for the UAB Heersink School of Medicine Rural Medical Scholars Program and Rural Medicine Program opens on November 3.
